I decided to wait 3 weeks before leaving my feedback to get a good evaluation with this bench. First off this bench is great! My wife and I have been using it Monday-Saturday completing various types of exercising to get into shape for our anniversary cruise to the Caribbean Islands. I am 5’10 and 236 lbs, the weight capacity of this bench exceeds my expectations, no movement or wobbling like some others I have used. This bench is very sturdy and long enough so that your head does not hang off while doing chest presses or sit ups. One more thing I would like to comment on is the outstanding customer service I have received. When I first received the weight bench after unpackaging I noticed a small tear on the front edge of seat. This tear may or may not have been caused by me while assembling the leg support. Once I contacted customer service they sent me a new seat with no hesitation and no questions. They also informed me to go ahead and keep the one with the tear for my convenience. I personally highly recommend this weight bench to anyone who is serious about losing weight and building muscle. Most importantly looking for a GOOD workout weight bench. Phillip – Odessa, Tx

I was really impressed with this bench. I picked this because it was the cheapest bench that could support this amount of weight. While fit and finish leave a bit to be desired, the sturdiness is there. I am 170 lbs and use two 90 lbs dumbbells for incline. The bench feels solid and doesn’t wobble; so long as you position it on a flat, smooth surface. The one aspect I don’t like, and eventually took off, was the front lower bar. While it has use for decline press, they’re just not padded enough that I don’t end up with bruises on my shins. Another area I don’t like is where the cushion cover is stapled on. I have caught a few small cuts and nicks from grabbing the staples when trying to move the bench. Not awful, but mostly surprising. Overall, I would definitely buy this bench again. It’s not a majestic unicorn that is perfect in every way, but it does bench things and it does them very well. You won’t be disappointed with the sturdiness or solid feel this bench has. I recommend a rubber mat for underneath of this. On smooth surfaces it may slide a bit which can be unsettling if you’re holding weight above you.

As someone who used to be a personal trainer I’d say this bench is OK for the money. It has quite a few positions and it’s under $100. Overall the bench is decent for the price. It’s sturdy enough but I’m worried that the seats won’t hold up to more than casual use. Time will tell.

For those wondering if the bench can lay perfectly flat, the answer is NO. Trust me, I set it up properly and the bench has a slight “decline” when in the “flat” position (and yes the front seat bar is positioned correctly). You can actually see this for yourself in the product video the seller attached. At approx. 1:39 into the video during dumbbell rows, you can see the bench has a slight decline to it. With that being said, I solved this little issue by putting a couple of 2×4’s under the rear foot. (see pics).

Another issue I have with this bench is that there isn’t what I would consider a “perfect” position for incline bench press. Oddly there’s a gap in between position settings where they decided NOT to put a cradle and that’s exactly where I would have wanted to place my bench at. Once again I solved my problem with a 2×4 slide between those two positions. (Adjusting the front leg doesn’t adjust it “enough” for me.)

As another reviewer mentioned the back piece could have been a bit wider. I like to do inverse crunches (pulling my knees up to my head) while in the flat position. So far it this bench hasn’t fallen over or anything and has held up to my weight (6ft 215lbs).

If you’re looking for a decent bench and don’t want to spend a ton of money – this will do the job. If you’re a bit more serious, I’d look elsewhere.
